Essentially, there are two types of referral presentation calls that we make throughout the day. The first type is when we contact the candidates in our database to tell them about a job opportunity with our client. The second type is when we contact our clients to tell them about our candidate that matches the qualifications of their job opening. Most companies who sell a product must maintain an inventory of the product that they supply to their customers. Preparing the Employer for the Interview
The purpose of preparing the employer for the interview, not only provides the hiring manager with more in-depth information about our candidate, but it also gives you an abundant amount of opportunities to close the employer before the interview even takes place. Once you learn how to prepare an employer in a professional manner, the interview will be no more than a physical confirmation by both the candidate and the employer of what they have already learned from you as the recruiter. True artists don't paint by numbers; instead they use the tools of their trade effectively when they recognize a need or opportunity, then they apply their own individual style. As a recruiter you must develop techniques that will work for you to help your candidates perform well in an interview. Your responsibility is to prepare your candidate properly so he or she can position himself or herself to receive a job offer from your client. The biggest mistake you could make is to assume that your candidate knows the concepts about interviewing techniques.
